MAPRx Submits Comments to CMS on Medicare Prescription Payment Plan

Earlier today the MAPRx Coalition submitted comments to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) regarding the memorandum Medicare Prescription Payment Plan: Draft Part Two Guidance on Select Topics, Implementation of Section 1860D-2 of the Social Security Act for 2025, published on February 15, 2024.

MAPRx appreciates the opportunity to comment on how CMS intends to implement Part D plan sponsor and agency education and outreach efforts for the MPPP, a program that will help ease beneficiary financial burdens for medications by making out-of-pocket (OOP) costs more manageable and predictable through monthly payments.
