MAPRx Submits Comments on CMS’ Latest Proposed Rule

Earlier today, the MAPRx Coalition and 28 of its members, representing national patient, caregiver, and healthcare provider organizations, submitted comments to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) on their latest rule.

Over the past 15 years, the Medicare Part D program has provided a critical avenue for beneficiaries to access prescription drugs. Its success in providing millions of Medicare beneficiaries with coverage for self-administered drugs is commendable. While MAPRx supports the Administration’s efforts to reduce out-of-pocket expenses, the Coalition is concerned that the proposed policy changes in this proposed rule may not adequately achieve this critical objective.
